With the huge amount of websites being created and thought about every day, the demand for good quality web hosting has massively increased. With so many more people now relying on having their website online all of the time, and the wide choice of providers available there is a huge expectation that whichever web hosting is chosen that they will over-deliver on service. People who make money online, whether full time or not need web hosting for their business to survive.
The best web hosts in the industry are the ones that see glowing reviews from their customers, the ones that are recommended in forums, and internet marketing chat rooms, and those that are not up to this level will only lose business to the point of not being able to operate in the same market anymore.
For most people choosing a web host, it's not necessarily all about uptime, or the amount of time your website is live, close to or at 100% is always going to be the goal here, but the other thing that can vary widely and is of extreme importance to the customer is service. What can they expect from the host, will their questions get answered promptly and explained clearly, can they expect help if a problem does arise. This is going to be judged largely on recommendations a lot of the time because as you can imagine all web hosts will say that they are fabulous.
Because people are now spoiled for choice this becomes a great opportunity for people looking to become affiliates for web hosting companies and for people looking to become resellers, which means purchasing a reseller package from a web hosting company and in turn reselling web hosting to someone else.
The obvious question comes to light and it is how do you make money becoming a web hosting affiliate? As I have mentioned previously a lot of people will pay for web hosting based on recommendations from other people. There are two parts to this. If you don't personally use web hosting yet, find out what other people are saying about their host, are they happy, or maybe are they ecstatic. Are they saying to steer clear of a certain provider for any reason. If you do and you are happy with your host as I am then by all means don't hesitate to tell people about it.
Give them an affiliate link and the reason why they should go through your host. That could be simply that you have not had a problem with them before, or it could be that when you did need to ask for help that their customer service was excellent.
