Gem LifestyleSome may ask, is there any truth to have a healthy life. I say yes it is. Let see what the Bible says. First look at the book of Proverbs 3:3 it says Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck; write them on the table of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. Now look further at verse 3:7 it says Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. It says also in the book of Proverbs 4:20 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a mans whole body. Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.
For it is written in the book of Mark 2:17 it says On hearing this, Jesus said to them, It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
It says in the book of Psalms 103:2 it says Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefitswho forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Now look at Isaiah 40:29 it says He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fail; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Look at what God says about healing. Go to the book of Exodus 15:26 it says He said, If you listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you. What a Blessing to know that if you do what is right in the sight of God no diseases will be put upon you and to know that God is a healer!!!
Jesus has already took our infirmities. Look at Isaiah 53:4 it says Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, you we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
I think Jesus says it best in the book Matthew 9:22 it says Jesus turned and saw her. Take heart, daughter, he said, your faith has healed you. And the woman was healed from that moment. Peter speaks on how the cripple was healed. It says in the book of Acts 4:10 it says then know this, you and all the people of Israel; It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. He is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone (a foundation stone).
The prayer of faith is powerful. Look at the book of James 5:15 it says And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
To conclude look in the book of 1Peter 2: 24 it says He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
Love Always,
Your Sister in Christ,
Mellody Davis

Blog ReviewFor those who are buying an RV, you may be wondering about RV insurance. Is it necessary? What kinds of RVs are covered by RV insurance? Is it the same as an extended warranty? Each of these questions is important and you should know the answers before you purchase a new or used RV.
1. Can I just use an auto insurance policy? Yes, you can. But, an RV insurance policy will cover the parts of the RV that the auto policy will not such as the stairs, the slideouts, and the awnings. These are some of the most common claims made for RVs. Not only that, if you have a towable RV or truck camper your automobile insurance will not cover it at all. If you have a towable, with some insurers you can have a combined policy which will cover the RV and the tow vehicle for a discounted price.
2. Where can I find RV insurance? You can find it through a regular insurance company, but they will not have the variety of products and RV policies that a company that specializes in RV insurance will have. For one of the best and easiest ways to shop for insurance you can go online, get quick free quotes, compare different companies, and apply. Just be sure that you are comparing policies with the same level of coverage.
3. Can I get RV insurance for my tent trailer? Yes you can. You can insure any type of RV from a truck camper to a full-size, ultra-luxury, diesel pusher motor home. It can also be new or used of any age.
4. What does the RV insurance cover? Most RV policies offer full coverage. This covers your RV no matter what happens and whose fault it is. A good policy will also offer total replacement for a new RV (less than 5 years old and with the original owner) that is totaled, or for a used RV (or one that is older than 5 years) you will get the purchase price back as a settlement in the event your RV is totaled.
5. How long does it take to apply? You can get a quote and apply and be approved in as little as a day.
6. Is it different than an extended warranty? Yes, an extended warranty covers engine repairs and appliances not accidents. This is why you need both.

online poker freerollsIf you are considering Cheap Web Hosting, you may want to think about the downside of an inexpensive host. Unless you are building a web site for a personal hobby, or perhaps to post the scores and information for your bowling league, there are significant things to consider when choosing a web host. Cost is one of them, free hosting often comes with ads that will display on your site, and you may have no control over them.
Also, websites hosted by free web hosts do not usually rank well in Search Engines for competitive keywords. Furthermore, if your web domain is on a shared server that sends out spam, or adult content, you may get penalized by search engines, or your site may load slower because precious bandwidth is being hogged by these factors that are completely out of your control. Customer Service is another thing to consider. Will you be able to get Technical Support on a 247 basis, and what about their claim in regards to 'up time'?
If the host has a small operation in a remote area of the world, what happens if their equipment goes down? If you are building a website to make money these are significant factors to consider. The host should also have the ability to register a domain name for you, they should be ICANN Certified, and you should have the ability to transfer your domain 'hassle free'. FTP access should be user friendly, and available. I personally had a bad experience doing some work for a customer where I, and the customer were refused access to the FTP Files. You don't want to be held hostage by your web host.
Lastly, security will be very important if you plan on any ecommerce. If this is the case, some people even suggest finding a host that has government agencies as customers because they will be required to meet strict security standards.
In conclusion, it all boils down to reputation. Do some research on your potential host, give their 800 number a test call to see how long you are on the line. Do a Google search using key phrases to find good and bad results, or go to http://www.hostsearch.com for a review. If the above seems all too confusing, surf over to http://www.webhostingpal.com, they have an excellent beginners guide to hosting, as well as reviews and pricing. Currently, I'm very satisfied with my web host, HostMonster, they've been more then I could ask for, and more.

Free cPanel Web HostingThere is absolutely no argument than an online business must have a professional functioning web site to exist in the world of internet trading. Primarily they require a great competitively prices web hosting service to park their sites, and then they need the actual web site.
The choice of web hosting packages is simply astounding when we begin the search for an adequate web hosting service for our business. Each of them offers something a little different. Some will have absolutely masses of space, you would need to be Yahoo themselves to fill up, others will offer handy little email newsletters with all the latest tips and tricks to attract traffic to the site.
Thankfully, all of the serious web hosting providers offer something small business owners builders actually need when they are launching themselves on the internet, a straight forward and easy method of creating the web site i.e. website builders. Let's just empathize that word "serious" shall we. A web hosting provider could not possibly be serious in their hope to attract signups without a quality site builder.
Business owners have enough to worry about when they establishing their online presence. Aside from having to manage the usual business activities and products or services required for all businesses, establishing an online presence is a mammoth task in itself for anyone that may not be experienced in internet site management. This does not even compare to the mind bending job of actually building a web site.
While many large corporations will simply hire this job out to some IT and web design professional, small businesses do not often have the funding available for such an expensive necessity. The only alternative is to select a hosting provider that offers a simple to use site builder.
Now don't be fooled into believing that all WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editors or site builders are all the same. This is a far cry from the truth. Many "page makers" passing themselves off as site builders are little more than toys to give teenagers a way to express themselves on the internet, and are not at all suitable for developing an online business presence.
Others are so complicated to use one might as well leaning the seemingly secret codes of internet web site creation. There are also some pretty good web site builders that have been around for years, that seem to be business friendly enough, and are certainly not too difficult to use, unfortunately they have been around, and around and around for so long that internet trends and requirements have rendered them interesting relics.
To understand how a site building tool may help you launch your own site with easy we should examine some of the features a good site building tool should exhibit.
- Certainly it must be easy to use; we businesses of all sorts, not necessarily expert computer programmers and our attentions should be involved directly in our businesses not learning a new language.
- It should also include the ability to take advantage of the most up to date traffic magnet, ie the blog. The ability to easily include bogs on your web site allows you to present articles related to your product or service, or even keep your viewers up to date with the latest news and information.
- A good site building tool will allow you to keep a photo gallery of your products.
- All importantly a good site building tool will give you a huge variety of skins or designs to select from. These designs would be professionally created to the best effect and optimal impact.
- This tool should offer a selection of pages; after all we are creating an entire web site not a pretty single page.
- Other optional pages or features might include a forum, guestbook, perhaps even a resume page just to name a few.
. A good site building tool will allow you to have as much control over the feel, look and information as you would like and not dictate to you what you must have.
- Now I'm sure I mentioned that this should be easy to use, but this point cannot be stressed enough so I will say it again. It absolutely must be easy to use.
Certainly the hours saved by using a site building tool to create your website is convincing reason enough to insist that your hosting service provides this function. Add this to the fact that you will potentially save thousands of dollars to have a web site built for you, and that you will have little control of this site once you have paid out your money, without doubt makes the matter of selecting a hosting provider offering a great site building tool the best business decision possible when launching your online presence.

How high up the insurance companies were rated, seems to make little difference. Sometimes the downturns happened so rapidly that the rating companies did not have time to react. Many of the original agents that wrote the policies with that Insurance Company were no longer there. So who is going to notify the policy holders? Certainly not the insurance companies. Of these companies starting to sink, it includes some established over 100 years ago. Others have only been formed a few years back. As market changes affect profitability, there are companies too sunk in tradition to quickly change or eliminate the sale of certain products. Additional insurers are too quick to test the hot markets where profitability and stability of new style insurance coverage is not yet proven.
During the past 20 years all types of Insurance Companies experienced difficulties in paying out claims. Frequently the problem erupts when claims pour in quicker than new premiums arrive and built up reserves are too low to handle claims received.. Intentionally, there are companies offering policies at dangerously low prices. This purposely makes it more difficult for their competitors to attract new clients. The practice is also know as buying customers, As a result the growth rate could be too fast. Also the amount of future claims is not properly calculated. Then when claims started to rise, the premiums are still set too low to offset incoming claim obligations and policy reserves have not had sufficient time to build up.
The insurance industry was hardest hit by the property and casualty insurance companies. These make up a high percentage of the companies liquidated during the past 20 years. Often high rated companies selling homeowner policies were hit almost overnight by weather devastation. Entire zip codes, metropolitan areas, and states were declared disaster areas. Claim reserves were quickly depleted, along with the future of the insurance company. Just look at the amount of harm Hurricane Katrina's rage put on people and their insurance companies. Only a few years earlier Hurricane Andrew left its mark on Florida.
The sales manner in which the insurance policies were sold does not one single out one particular method.. The troubled companies can not be pinpointed to distribution of its insurance products. There is a wide variety of different ways in which policies were sold. Some were only available directly from the home office. In other cases the home office used direct mail to solicit new business. There were insurance companies that had a base of captive agents to sell and distribute their policies. In different circumstances the policies were sold by independent agents and brokers. Other companies used a large combination of distribution channels.
When insurance company liquidation comes there are many efforts first made to save the insurance company. An insurance company can not even apply to go into bankruptcy. Insurance regulation is done at the state level, with no federal government intervention provided. This means that one state has different consumer protection amounts built in, than another will have. Also certain states step in quicker when they spot a company violating sales practices or operating in a financial insecure manner.
The first step is commonly to issue a state order for the insurance company to suspend writing any new insurance. Upon further inspection, the state insurance department may issue a rehabilitation order. This means the insurance company is still in business but now with the insurance commissioner as rehabilitor, the power changes. The insurance commission manages the company until the financial conditions can be properly corrected. If not, an order for the liquidation of insurance company starts. It begins with collecting as much of the company's remaining assets as possible. It is not uncommon for the liquidation process to range from 5 years to 9 years.
More on how the consumer is protected and how much will be recovered will be handled is in an upcoming report. A big hint, HMO - health maintenance organizations, and PPO's - preferred provider organizations ARE NOT covered by state guaranty payments.

Get Started with Google AdSenseAn interesting conversation took place recently between a 45 year nursing veteran and her family. The topic of the day was the nursing shortage and the veteran nurse surprised all by announcing, There is no nursing shortage, there is a hospital nursing shortage.
She went on to explain that in the home health and non-institutional nursing fields, there is an adequate supply of nurses willing to work for employers who respect and value their services. According to this nurse who had worked in hospitals for much of her career, the problem today is that hospitals and other institutions see nurses and other professionals as replaceable rather than precious.
No nurse my age is going to work for some young supervisor who believes that you manage people by threatening them or their license. There are too many jobs out there to deal with that nonsense.
This veteran nurse struck on the key factor in any employee shortage, the relationship between employer and employee. Two contrasting examples of the value of the employer/employee relationship demonstrate the promise and peril facing healthcare in the future.
Steeley Corporation:
One of the two largest employers in a north Florida community, Steeley Corporation had once been one of the two most reliable employers in the region. Steeley Corporation was the unrivaled market leader in their niche and pay at Steeley Corporation was second only to pay at the paper mill. Steeley Corporation management was exclusively hand picked individuals who had proven their willingness to follow any order given by the company president. Steeley Corporation management believed in an authoritarian management model and the lack of other good paying jobs ensured that employees remained despite the poor employer/employee relationships.
As the economy of the area shifted from manufacturing to tourism, Steeley Corporation began to suffer financial difficulties. Convinced that the company could be profitable again if the employees would stand with the organization, mandatory overtime and shortened breaks were instituted to save jobs. Employees unwilling or unable to work past the end of shift were terminated and management further retaliated by giving poor references. As the company spiraled downward, payroll checks began to bounce and managers began threatening licensed employees with reports to the state. Employee resignations skyrocketed and families began leaving the community. Finally, the company collapsed and disappeared overnight. In the aftermath, hundreds of employees were owed millions of dollars.
Intuit
The early days of the dot-com craze were characterized by a many great ideas that would flounder for years until rediscovered by a bigger company. Small software houses would create a fantastic product, but without the funds to run a start-up business, these products would either disappear or be purchased by larger companies. Microsoft was the biggest buyer of such innovative technology. It was into this environment that a small company with an electronic checkbook was born. Intuit began in a garage and grew quickly on money borrowed by the founders.
The brightest days for Intuit were quickly followed by sudden financial darkness. As larger software developers entered the personal finance market, Intuit found itself in financial trouble. The company founders made the employees an extraordinary offer based on the value they placed on the employees and the relationship with each as a person. The employees were offered an opportunity to work for partial ownership of the company. Those who chose this option would become shareholders with the potential of making millions if the company survived to be a publicly traded company. Employees who could not afford to forego being paid received a guarantee that their job would be available if they chose to return when the company was again solvent.
Intuit management had cultivated caring relationships based on mutual respect with each employee. There was no management by intimidation at Intuit and the company was rewarded when financial disaster loomed large on their horizon. Most key company employees opted to stay, unpaid, in exchange for ownership. A small group of employees were unable to forego an income. Intuit management guaranteed their jobs and honored these guarantees when these employees returned. Over time, Intuit became the dominate personal and business finance software manufactured, even staving off a take over attempt by Microsoft.
Healthcare has become a split marketplace with institutional care (hospitals and nursing homes) separated from non-institutional care. Nurses are gravitating to non-institutional care despite lower pay because of the factors that Intuit and others have come to appreciate. Employees care more about the relationships than the money. Veteran nurses remember being respected and appreciated for long hours and selfless dedication. It was not expected or required, it was given freely and accepted graciously. Even in a materialistic society people want to be loved and cared for, respected and valued.
There is no nursing shortage, there is a relationship shortage.
